1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all transactions between House Of Pantry (“we,” “us,” “our”) and our customers (“you,” “your”) for the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of custom furniture.
1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1.3 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
2.1 All orders are subject to our acceptance and availability of materials.
2.2 The specifications, designs, measurements, materials, and finishes shall be as agreed upon during the consultation and design process.
2.3 Once you approve the designs and specifications, any subsequent changes may incur additional charges and affect delivery timelines.
2.4 We reserve the right to make minor modifications to designs or specifications if necessary due to material availability or technical requirements.
3.1 All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees and include applicable taxes.
3.2 Payment Schedule:
3.3 All payments must be made according to the schedule above. Delays in payment may result in delays in production and delivery.
3.4 Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or other methods approved by us.
4.1 We provide free delivery and installation within Southern Province (Galle, Matara, and Hambantota districts).
4.2 Delivery and installation outside these areas may incur additional charges, which will be communicated in advance.
4.3 Estimated delivery and installation dates are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
4.4 You are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the installation site. Additional charges may apply if special equipment or arrangements are required due to access limitations.
4.5 Plumbing and electrical wiring services are not included in our scope of work. These should be arranged separately by the customer.
5.1 The title to goods shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full.
5.2 Risk of damage or loss passes to you upon delivery and installation.
6.1 We provide a 10-year warranty on all cupboard work and accessories manufactured by us, covering manufacturing defects and transportation damage.
6.2 Branded items supplied by third-party manufacturers retain their original manufacturer’s warranty only.
6.3 Our warranty does not cover:
6.4 To claim under warranty, you must notify us in writing, providing details of the defect and proof of purchase.
7.1 As all our products are custom-made to your specifications, orders cannot be canceled once materials have been ordered or production has begun.
7.2 If cancellation is requested and accepted at our discretion, any costs already incurred will be deducted from any refund.
7.3 Custom-made products cannot be returned unless they are defective.
8.1 Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the products.
8.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
9.1 We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or government restrictions.
10.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
